Comprised of some of the finest classically trained singers in the United States, the mission of the American Spiritual Ensemble is to keep the American Negro spiritual alive. Most of the members of the choir are accomplished soloists who have sung in theaters and opera houses worldwide. The resulting sound of this choir creates a “spine-tingling” aural experience. In addition to spirituals, the program will include songs from opera and musicals. This concert is especially for anyone who treasures vocal music.
